Meet the Hatton Garage Team

Craig Lawrence
Craig’s ambition in life was to become a successful motor mechanic, after leaving school in 1987 he was offered an opportunity with a local garage “Automasters” where he was to receive the very best of training in the old fashion style and hands on learning experiences.

After he served his time Craig moved on and stated work with Chap Construction repairing everything from HGV’s, cars, vans and all types of Plant Machinery. A position for a Marine Engineer became available at CAT Finnings and after joining the company Craig decided wasn’t the job for him, so moved onto Workshop Manager at Miller Plant Hire in Echt. Although he found the journey to Echt everyday tedious he enjoyed the challenge that the job brought. After eight years it was time to move on by starting his own business, Aberdeenshire Mobile Mechanics.

The rewards were even greater giving the opportunity that Craig and Pauline were given and Hatton Garage Ltd was formed.

Pauline Lawrence
A local lass to Hatton, Pauline’s role in the business is one of flexibility like most woman Pauline can multi task!! From carrying out the daily admin duties, picking up and dropping off customers, customer care and support, which has been a major career change from working in property over the past 20 years.

Supporting Craig and the Business at all times, Pauline is never stuck for words and a friendly chat!

When Pauline isn't working she likes crafting. She loves the banter and cheering at the race tracks whilst cheering on Ross and Kieran.

Kieran Burnett
Kieran started with Hatton Garage as an apprentice mechanic back in May 2013. He attends college one day per week.

Kieran from Maud, has always had a love of cars and can be seen most weekends racing in the Bangers at Crimond Raceway together with Lochgelly and Cowdenbeath.

Kieran is a cheery lad and fitted into his role nicely becoming a valued member of the Hatton Garage family.

Ross Lawrence
The future MD of Hatton Garage Ltd??

Ross now 14, is not sure if he will follow in his dad's footsteps so his father's job is safe meantime!

Now in his 3rd year at nearby Ellon Academy Ross's spare time is spent building, repairing and most importantly racing at Crimond and Cowdenbeath Raceways. Ross began racing the Juniostox at the tender age of 11, he's had good seasons so far and finished season 2017 as National Points Champion in the Ministox....who knows what this season will bring.
